FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is Sheriff an event for all ages?

Yes, we are an event for people of all ages and our programming includes activations for the whole family! Children aged 12 and under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult who holds a valid Sheriff ticket.

Is the event accessible for children?

Yes :) Children ages 10 and under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult with a valid Sheriff's ticket. Ages 11 and up must have a valid ticket to enter.

Can I exchange my ticket?

No, as stated in the ticketing policy, no refunds, exchanges, or credits will be allowed under any circumstances for ticket purchases.

Can I leave the site and come back?

Yes.

Can I buy tickets on site?

Yes.

Where is the festival taking place?

Sheriff takes place at the Quai de l'Horloge, is located in Old Montreal at the eastern end of the Old Port. There is a large paid parking lot accessible from rue du Quai de l'Horloge, but we recommend using the metro served by the STM. We are accessible from Berri-UQAM station and Champ-de-Mars station.

Is there parking near the event?

You have access to paid parking accessible from rue du Quai de l'Horloge, and near the Montreal Science Center. Visit the Old Port of Montreal website to find out all the options.

What payment methods are accepted on the site?

We only accept payments by debit or credit card. No cash will be accepted on site.

Are dogs allowed on site?

Dogs on a leash are allowed.

Can I bring my camping chairs to the site?

No, it is prohibited to bring your own chairs to the festival site. There will already be a dedicated section with several Adirondack chairs on the site as well as several picnic tables with a view of the stage. No need to bring your own!

What happens if it rains?

Rain or shine, the show goes on! Please find out the temperature before going to the site and dress accordingly. It is possible that bad weather conditions force us to interrupt a show for an indefinite period. Check our social media accounts to receive the most recent communications on this subject.

No, you cannot smoke or vape on the site.

Will there be toilets accessible to people with reduced mobility?

Yes, toilets for people with reduced mobility will be available on the Sheriff site and will be indicated with a dedicated sign to be easily recognizable.

Is the festival accessible to people with limited mobility?

Yes, the festival is fully accessible to people with limited mobility.
